In June, the second meeting of INTERACT consortium members took place in Helsinborg, Sweden. The meeting was scheduled together with the PED programme meeting held during the Urban Future conference in Helsingborg. The meeting was organized as a hybrid meeting, as the participant from TU Wien was at a different conference, the CIRED 2022 in Porto, presenting a paper developed during our INTERACT project.
In particular, we discussed possible use cases and business models relevant for advanced energy communities such as the INTERACT Energy Community. Using the holistic approach proposed by TU Wien (LINK Solution), the possibilities are especially in exploiting the potential of demand side management within the balance of energy consumption and production of the community members to provide auxilliary services for the energy network.
